The Windlesham Pram Race - Boxing Day 2014
What better way to run off the Christmas Day feast than a Pram Race around the Pubs of Windlesham.
Check out my selection of photo's capturing the creative Fancy Dress efforts from many locals as the casually race their way through local pubs raising money for Charity.
The Windlesham Pram Race is a Boxing Day tradition which has been running in the village for over 35 years. Basically, it's a race for people to run around the village pulling a pram or pushchair, with fancy dress and a few compulsory stops along the way. The idea is to raise money for charity (this year's chosen charities are the Royal Marsden Hospital and Cancer Research UK).The race starts at midday outside The Plough pub. This year there were about 80 entrants, and the route was about 4 miles long. I have some photos from the 2013 event here. Here are some of my favourite photos from 2014 - I hope you enjoy them!
